Apollo Justice games canon?

I really hope not, Klavier and Ema were the only good characters(IMO), and von Karma and Edgeworth are much better. The gameplay and additions to gameplay are okay, but I can't swallow the fact Phoenix can never use that finger of his in court again. I would even like it if the characters from Apollo Justice star in the series, but I miss those old faces. Does anybody know if they're canon or not?

To me, it's sort of canon. The Apollo Justice series is a whole new series but it takes place in the future of the Phoenix Wright world.

They are cannon. I do hope though that the games expand on Phoenix and more importantly Maya and Pearl. I don't like how they're just 'gone.' And hopefully Perfect Prosecutor explains Edgeworth's absence. (And Gumshoe, but I have the feeling he was in there somewhere)

Though the new faces are nice, just hope they 'forget' the 'chords of steel' for Apolo. felt very.....well bad, listening to him at the start. :/

and as for Wright never pointing his finger again, who says there aren't going to be more flashbacks? I mean in Pheonix 3 we played as

Good point. BTW, I hope that they do some things different for Perfect Prosecutor. I mean, the prosecutor knows the suspect, just has to prove it.If I remember correctly, some people said that in one of the trailers, a sihollete(spelling, I know) of von Karma(the awesome one with the whip) was shown, so maybe they elaborate on the past as well. There was also this really weird girl in it. I will lose ALL respect for Edgeworth if they make him fall in love with her(or any girl for that matter).

Prosecutor plays a lot different than the AA games, for example one of the features is walking. Yes, the first time in the Phoenix Wright universe will people walk.

That's cool. I think they're trying to put out to many games in the series to fast though.

I love the series, it's just that Capcom has already abused it.

Yeah, my first reaction to walking was like "ZOMG hacks!" I'm not really sure about it, and I've known for quite some time. And, Skyler Ocon, and think that the games have come at an okay speed, but the 4th seemed kinda rushed. Best quote: "Oh, and attorney? Screw you." That was filled with epic amounts of win.

In the lst case in Apollo Justice,you played as Pheonix,he DID point his finger.

But what do you mean by canon?

I cant imagine Gyakuten Kenji being a success,atleast we will see old characters like Gumshoe!
