So I am looking at my daily Apex stats to see how the team is doing. Updates so far include :
Pierce making threads for each region for Apex 2010 support
D1 reaching out to Gamefaqs and other gaming sites for more casual gamer support.
Crismas is making Flyers for the OOC/OOS people for TP5 and ZEST.
This is not just limited to us guys. This tournament is for you. Apex is based on the idea that we all work together. In order to do that we have to tell people about this event and show support. That means YOU have to make the attempt to be here. If you live in NJ there is no excuse. This is not some tournament that is out of reach. This is a tournament that is worth saving up for.
Now I did look at the registration website and I see only 13 people paid fully. This is not bad news because about 50-60 have signed up. Remember in order to be registered you have to pay. So you know the break down and if not I'll remind you here.
Singles : $15 for each game
Doubles : $10 per person for each game
Venue is : $30 ( $10 a day ).
So what do you get besides a tournament that makes this worth while?
Easy!
RAFFLES
For everyone who attends they can purchase a $1 raffle ticket that they can enter in. They can enter this to win T-shirts, a free sticker set by Crismas (http://tunetherainbow.deviantart.com/gallery/#Characters )and maybe other prizes.
CREWS
My tournaments are known for one thing. We make sure we include everything we promise. At Apex 2010 we will have brawl/melee crews. This means USA vs The World and WC vs EC. These will be recorded and livestreamed.
ARTIST ALLEY
Crismas is an artist and will be doing commissions and stickers for everyone throughout the event ( just dont mind if she is not there she plays melee XD. ) You can view some of her art here http://tunetherainbow.deviantart.com/ and she goes all my artwork. You will enjoy what you get. We will also be selling string bags ( like MLG ) if we can and buttons/stickers galore.
So why should you attend this tournament? It will be worth your time. It is a smash tournament but its a chance to see not only the world play but to meet people you always wanted to meet. NEVER has there been a tournament where you can see

EVER! Remember that and get the money to register and pay already. That way we can have that taken care. Remember all you need is a CC/debit/visa gift card and sign up. You can pay for doubles and not have a partner set until a week before. Stop being afraid and take the initiative to enter the greatest event in the history of Smash.
