Anything special about the Stage Builder?

I was just wondering if there was anything different about the stage builder in Project M.

No, not exactly. The Stage Builder is still there. You can still access it, and build stages. But you can't access your custom stages at the Stage Selection Screen, so there's no use for it.

What if I make some custom stages, set all stages to on and then manually deselect all of the other stages?

You can use the stage builder again as of 3.01. :)
You might have to disable the "No stage builder" code, unless the PMBR already did. Put your stages in projectm/st .
