that snake turned out to be a better player than you thought him to be? at first I'd think he suck but hes pretty strong when you get the hang of him.

oh yeah. definitely. I still hear people that think snake sucks; I then proceed to kick their *** and embarass them cause they think they're losing to a sucky character.

He actually turned out to be pretty **** well imba compared to what I thought he would be. But what really amazed me is that he is really original and fits well with the other smash bros characters, wich was, I guess, a really hard thing to do for the devs.

I also believe snake was part of another fighting game that was similar to super smash bros. but it had characters like simon belmont from castlevania and bomberman I wonder if they got some of his moves from there too. I dont remember the name of the game though. I think it was Dream something.

I gotta admit, when I saw some previews of Snake before the release, I didn't even consider trying him out. I thought his smashes were just.....ugh. Even though his smashes (cept' for his up one) aren't reliable, his tilts are unbelievable >.>

I saw him in the previews and thought "That's the char for me." due to the epicness of exiting that box with the japanese-accented "Showtime!".

Finding out brawl CF kinda sucked (compared to melee) only changed Snake to my main. The fact that Snake is pretty godly was a surprising added bonus
