Hello all!
My name is Jae, and I work for a tutoring academy called (you've guessed it!) Honors Academy in Cerritos, CA. I was trying to figure out a way to actively and persistently recruit/hire debate coaches for the academy, and these forums seem like an excellent start!
If you enjoy teaching and working with kids/teens, then this is undoubtedly the perfect job for you. Why? Because you will learn as you teach and acquire vital experience for your resume (oh, the hours are flexible and the pay is great as well!).
If you are interested (and are serious), here are some qualifications we are looking for :
--- Sufficient knowledge and experience in public forum and/or policy debate.
--- Ability to correct and teach proper speech habits.
--- Debate coaching experience. (Not required, but very helpful)
I know this 'job advertisement' is brief, but it is just to get our foot through the door.
