I ran into this... I guess I'll just call it a 'trick' with samus, actually back in november.

I haven't seen anyone use it, or anything. But I found you can wall jump from under FD onto the stage.

Its not useful to be honest, unless you just want to refresh your invince frames on the ledge. I don't see any uses for it though.

It is useful for grounded CS/missles. It is also a very old tech which I use frequently.

You can actually walljump off of the lip that you grab, if you're fast enough.

Input (from ledge)

down > double jump > quarter circle forward > jump

So, if you're on the left side

down > double jump > rotate stick from down to right > jump

Im looking, I can only find one vs Ixis, and I didn't see you using it at all.
watched a few other vids too.

I'd keep looking but YT is being glitchy...
I swear every time they change something to make the site "better" it just results in a whole lot of crap not working :|
