Anyone have any favorite character pairings/couplings or OTP's?

Name your top three. Here are mine:

1. Ashley x Penny (WarioWare)
This is my one true pairing to rule them all. I actually established it. The two are just meant for each other. Pessimistic and optimistic, magic and science...opposites really do attract~!

2. Diddy Kong x Dixie Kong (DKC)
After having iced DKC2 (SNES) on the VC 102%, I just thought this one works so well. Not much else to say, but yeah.

3. Kirby x Ribbon (from his 64 game, Crystal Shards)
Ribbon is such an underrated character in this Kirby franchise and just needs to appear again in another game.

yay, shipping! Although I think this would belong in Media Metropolis because there's more shipper material in other fiction than in games...

My first ever ship was Takeru and Hikari from Digimon. I dunno... they were just so cute together! Not to mention the fact that fanfiction got me into fandom and shipping anyway... but that's another story.

Simon and Kaylee were just so awesome... I don't remember the exact phrase from Serenity, but it went something like:
Simon: "I only wish that I was able to be with you before we died."
Kaylee: "You mean to say, as in sex?"
Simon: "I mean to say."
Kaylee: "To hell with this... I'm gonna live!"
Oh, and anyone that ships River with ANYONE should get thrown out the airlock.

Apollo and Starbuck from the new Battlestar Galactica have a lot going for them too. The last couple of seasons had really screwed with the relationship, and I can't wait to see how it resolves.

Reimu and Marisa from Touhou Project would seem like a really cute couple, if only because Marisa and Reimu oppose each other in the right way (and the artists that portray the relationship are incredible anyway)

If you followed snafu-comics's PowerPuff Girls fancomic, the creator did a really, really good portrayal of the relationship between Dexter and Blossom. It's a fun comic, and you can find it on snafu-comics.com.

I had so many. I don't really ship anymore... I haven't been following my fandoms lately. Oh well. I'm such a fool for a good story and a sappy romance x_x

Cradle snatcher? Why?

And even if it was a ripoff, it was well done. Kingdom Hearts failed to generate any amount of nostalgia that the PPG doujin brought back, you know? The whole comic really did feel like a Hanna-Barbara work, with the artist's own twist behind it. And I really like the Sugar Bits comic he has going. But if you've got better fancomics, by all means enlighten me. ^_^

And while we're talking shipping... I totally forgot about Sakura/Shaoran from CCS and Tsubasa Chronicle... and hell, anything by CLAMP. Perhaps it's just the fanboy in me talking though.
