I'm sorta new to Samus and all. I got down the taunt to turn into ZSS easily, but I dont really have a feel for the regular Samus. I'm used to fastfallers like Fox and Samus is the exact opposite so its hard to get used to aerial combat. Anyone got any tips with aerial combat?

Short hopped zairs are your best friend. Uairs work great through platforms and can sometimes lead to Up-B. Short hopped dairs are good, especially off the stage :). I'd suggest getting the feel for the timing on some level 3 computers. Good luck with Samus! I'm sure some others will have some tips to share.

Yea dont wry. You just have to play her alot to get used to her floaty nature. SH aerials are great setups for combos 2. ^_^

^ it's too hard to give you "tips" in one-post replies. if someone tells you to use zairs, dairs and uairs, how can you practice them without knowing when they need to be applied?

zairs are used for spacing, dairs are used for punishing and gimping, and uairs are used to keep opponents in the air, or are canceled from a sh with a ff into a dsmash, up b, uptilt, jab, etc.. these moves have plenty of variations depending on how you perform them and under what situation, obviously.

what i'm saying is, the best way to get better is to just try her out for yourself and find what works and what doesn't. and if you're into that typpa thing, watch some videos.. i don't, though, so you can get by without 'em.
