I hate Sonic, too. However he DOES deserve the spot. Despite my hatred for him, he was a real respectable character back in the day, and several Sonic fans would like to see him in a good game after being in crappy games so long.

Though I am known for it I didn't come here to uber pwn flame you...i'm just here to say yes, though sonic has very few moves I have played as him in MUGEN so I could see how it would work and on the other hand sure evee can evolve into 7 different forms (wow..almost) it yet could still get pwnd by a magikarp evee will never be in smash as long as someone in the world of Sora has some type of brain. That is not a good argument at all. Sakurai could create a fitting moveset for him... You know Captain Falcon, Fox, Zelda, and Peach (and more characters probably.) didn't have much places to pull a moveset from, but look... they're in the game! :o

You totally missed my point. All of the characters I mentioned didn't have much anywhere to pull a moveset from (Captain Falcon and Zelda had NOWHERE to pull one from.).

No it's not... could you have made a moveset for the Ice Climbers? Where all they did was jump up platforms, no hitting involved. Could you have made a moveset for Captain Falcon, where he just drove race cars? Or for Fox. Where he flew spaceships and ocasionally tanks, or running around with a Bazooka?

but, come on. even my dad who never plays video games thought sonic should be in it. regardless of what sonic can do in a fight, its a matter of the epic battles that would occur when sonic is thrown in the fray with these other legends.
