I really am not, there doesn't need to be another stupid swordwielder of a game little people have played. A heavy swordsman? Especially the part about him being invulnerable to attacks for parts of his moves. Sounds like they are making some good movements in balance between fast and low chars, I'll give them that, but I don't like the sword. Be more creative. Clones for the loss.

Ike doesn't look clone like to me. Nothing looks clone like in fact.
Concept similarities? Definately.
Cloning? Nah.
It seems most of his attacks are horizontal. All of the swordsmen from Melee had predominantly vertical arc-like strokes with few exceptions, mostly from Link. It also looks like Ike will be around the same weight rank as Link and having bad speed at the cost of good range and power. It's safe to expect at least six swordsmen counting the possible Ganny change so you better get used to it.

As for looking forward to Ike, well, I would be if it weren't for the fact he'll be overplayed for the first few weeks of its release. I might take him up after the crowd dies down.

Ike looks sweet, nothing reminds me of clone in any of the special moves I saw, the Aether reminds me Kirby's b^ though.

He looks like he will be replacing Marth and Roy. Why bring them back when you really have a character similar to both of them. This could be the end of our two friends....

Oh noes, a handful of characters might be using swords! Wait... how is this bad? I do think they need to bring in some characters with other weapons for more variety, but that is not to say that all the swordsmen don't have a wide variety of style with their various swords.

Also, Marth and Roy have yet to be confirmed for Brawl, so I wouldn't count those eggs before they hatch. So far we are looking at Ike, Link, Meta, to some extent Pit (more knife-like than swords imo), and possibly Ganon will sport those delightful disjointed hit boxes.

I found Path of Radiance to be my least favorite FE, so I don't really like him. A lot of people seem to think it's the best one, but meh

You must have not looked hard enough, since I seen at least two other Ike topics (not counting this one) on the first page and with today's update, there's a bit of active discussion.
