Anyone else getting the feeling we'll see an early 2015 release?

The only word we have gotten is that it'll be Holiday 2014, and right now it's currently September 16th. I can understand if they're focusing hard on the 3DS version and pushing that out, but do you think they would immediately start advertising the Wii U version? It seems odd to me that there hasn't been a single word on the official release date. Even when Nintendo denies it after the advertising mistakes have been made here and there, are they just stalling for time until the 3DS version is out for everyone to say "This game has been delayed to 2015" and are using the results of the bugs/glitches we've seen in the 3DS version to fix the HD version?

I could wait if that happened, but the suspense is killing me personally. What do you guys think?

This. The fact that the 3DS version sold over a million copies in less than 2 days in Japan is pretty much all the evidence Nintendo needs to see that the Wii U version would be the must own game of the Holiday season.

Nyeh.

They just don't want to give it a release date yet so they can focus on the 3DS release. If they say the Wii U version is coming in just two months, that'll very likely affect 3DS sales. Also, no much reason to delay the game now, we know it's basically complete, the 3DS version went gold ages ago, the Wii U version is likely very soon to follow considering they only released them separately because of debugging.

Give it until the game is out worldwide, then we'll get our release date.

They'll probably announce the Wii U release date after the 3DS version is released worldwide.

They definitely need the game to come out this year, but they're Nintendo, so I don't really know at this point.

No they need to have it out by Christmas because the goal is to sell Wii Us and more people buy consoles for Christmas than after its over.
