Anyone else Edge Egg?

this is a little tactic i used at the gigabits tourney...some ppl were impressed so i think its a good tactic...basically you tap back off the edge and up B an egg horizontally across the stage, when you hold forward bcuz of the egg toss u magnetize back on the edge....i called it edge egging but if its already been named then somebody plz notify me...lol..u can do it backwards too...when an opponent is trying to recover, u can toss eggs at it while griping back on to the edge...only bad part about this is that it can only be done a maximum of 4-5 times until ur egg stall will make u fall straight down...one more thing to..............Yoshi's super armor to UAir rulez!

Yeah, there have been a few videos on it. I don't know if there's really an official name for it.

As you mentioned, the aerial boost granted from egg toss diminishes slightly after every one, making 4 the typical maximum you can pull off.

Aw man! I didn't know there was another yoshi at the gigs tourney. Maybe we'll get pitted against eachother in a gigs tourney some day.

But yeah, edge eggings fun. However sometimes I'll do an egg roll by mistake and just kill myself (rare but don't want to risk it on my last stocks)

This was in Melee too I believe (though a LOT harder to pull off and a lot more complicated) so Im pretty sure its probably got a name already. Its definitely a good tactic against characters who have rather poor aerial movement/aerial attacks.

Its usually called ECE (edge cancelled eggs). Yea i do it alot, its very useful to mix up your get ups with this as well as to counter some campers.

Bleak why do you type like a little kid?

Bleak uses this against me and it's pretty good to stop you from rushing the edge, but once the opponents inside they can easily poke you out of it so don't get carried away.

ok kool...i started to read more on the forums...ppl call it egg hogging.......i still like edge egg better...wut do u guys think...lol...and another thing about the yoshmiesta, he has very little lag between his BAIR into his UAIR...so if u can BAIR someone hight off the ground, dont hesitate to UAIR...yoshi's egg juggling is awesome!
