Smash Wii U Anyone a little worried about the miiverse stage?

77% of Miiverse are trolls, and they make weird unrelated smash bros stuff... so what if those troll drawings are going to pop up during gameplay and humiliate characters? is Sakurai making sure these don't pop up? Or random drawings pop up at random times? I dunno... just something I'm thinking about...

This is my main worry with the stage. Immature people are a part of every community and will show some immature stuff on the stage if the mods don't watch Miiverse like a robot.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo said in the 50 facts video that they will pick drawings themself and put it into the stage.
That's probably why the stage won't be available on release.

On the bright side, posts like "Y CANT METROID CRAWL" will show up in gameplay.
But the novelty will wear out.
Actually there are questions about the stage itself I must know but wait for.
1. If banned on Miiverse, can the stage be accessed?
2. How will tournaments decide what to do with the stage? I know it's legal under normal circumstances, but it could be banned because DLC.

They even said that messages related to the fighters currently playing on the stage would be the ones to appear, so they are pretty much forced to choose these carefully. You can totally expect this stage to be "clean."

If the posts that appear represent the fighters, how would the game know which posts are about which characters?

It doesn't. Someone has to go through and say, "Oh, this Miiverse post is about Zelda. We'll use that one for her."

Using my brain I could have also come to the conclusion that you can tag your posts to certain characters. But that would be prone to abuse. That's why they hand pick the stuff. It really is the only way to make sure there's no ****-spam and insulting messages.

Didn't they show some examples of drawn pictures and messages in the 50 fact extravaganza? Those were quite awesome and I hope to see such from people who are creative and able to draw such things on the Wii U Gamepad. I mean, there's always the crafty people who legitimately want to show their good creations to other people and not just troll.

Yes, you're right. Unless you can't tag a character, someone has to choose them by hand (which equals a A TON of work, everyday).

Considering the ,,Bad" Miiverse posts: I don't know if they could even recognize the "Sanic" drawings as "Sonic" drawings. On the other hand, they seem to be aware of "Y can't Metroid crawl?", haha. We won't know this for sure until it's released.

They're monitoring, so while a few stinkers could get by, extremely offensive ones won't. The quality control will be pretty good overall, although perhaps not 100% perfect. But no company can do that anyway.

Frankly, I don't like the idea of the stage, and I plan to ignore it as much as I can, but it was also stated in the 50-Fact Extravaganza that messages and photos would be picked by Nintendo themselves. I'm sure that is why the stage will not be released off the fly.

Why would it be banned if it is DLC? If the stage can be used for competition, then I see no problem with it.

I'm probably never going to play this stage anyway. It's got pretty much the same layout as Battlefield and is far less pretty.

The stage itself is probably completely finished and the only reason they are holding it back is specifically to check each individual image that goes through. Once they've gone over a bunch of them they'll release the stage. Accepting a few new entries for the stage is probably a part of someone's job routine at Nintendo headquarters. Frank shuts down the computers. Bob locks up. Doug okays a few 100 Miiverse stage drawings from a list the computer selected.
