Any tricks to Squirtle's recovery?

I seem to pwn at PT except recovering a squitle.I heard he was supposed to have a really good recovery, but I am dissapointed that it isn't very good.
Which is why I must ask:
Is there any tricks to recovering as squirtle?K thanks.

umm if you hold Forward with his up b, you go more Horizontal and if you hold back, you go more vetical

i think PTs recoverability on all the charecters is terrable. charzards glid suchs and his attack out of it has no range. also FD is the master of gimping charzard. sad. squirtles is not bad but if you hit him while doing an over b you are prity well screwed
