Any tips on how to counter inkling's roller ???

Just seeing if anyone had some tips to counter the roller with fox... I tried shielding and doing oos up smash once the roller hits shield but he jumps out most of the time

Parry it. Its pretty easy to parry on reaction so there’s that. if they keep jumping out of it you can read it by anti-airing with a NAIR, FAIR, or pretty much any airmove. If you find difficulty with that you can just catch their landing with your plentiful grounded anti-air moves. If you are having a really bad time punishing it, just avoid it and they might stop using it because they realize its not working.
