Any tips for getting started as a Tourney Commentator?

So, I want to get more involved with the competitive Smash scene, and after having done radio work before, voice work is nothing foreign for me. And doing commentary is always fun, so I decided that commenting during Smash tournaments would be fun and something enjoyable to do.

However, I don't have a bloody clue of where on earth to start. What are some good examples of commentators/announcers I should look up on Youtube or Twitch? Should I get involved with my local scene for commentating?

Thanks for the help! Sorry if this is a tremendously obvious question. .-.

Check out the Clash tournament streams on twitch (too lazy to grab the link). Either ask the people there or just watch.

And yes, get involved with the local scene... I would practice at smashfests by well... commentating a game about 20 feet behind the players so they couldn't hear me, but the people around me could.
