Any strategic reason for recovering under the stage?

So a while back, I discovered you can drop down from one edge of the stage, ride your bike under, double jump, and up-b to get to the other side. (Yes, I know I'm probably not the first to discover this)

Is there any real reason to do this? Maybe if your opponent is camping one edge and you can get a surprise attack on them

It can foil the opposer's edgeguard setup.

I just use it as a way to mix things up occasionally.

Unpredictability is a good strategy, so you can often use it to fake out your opponents. Other than that... meh.
