I'm taking the pee-sat num-squat this saturday, while my buddy Weruop is going to tourneyplay in Seattle for brawl:urg: . I've heard from everyone that it's good practice for the real SAT (I'm a sophomore)

The scholarship merit thing sounds pleasing, but when I looked inside the booklet I was look WOAH If I get this it will be some sort of miracle

Memories, similarities?

I took the PSAT once, I think. If you're good at standardized tests, it's pretty simple. And yes, the Nat'l Merit Scholarship is a good thing to have, assuming you go to a college that accepts it. It is good practice for the SAT as well, though most standardized tests you've taken already in life are as well.

I seem to remember the PSAT being really good practice for the SAT. Helped me out a lot ^_^

I was told that you don't qualify for national merit scholarship as a sophomore though, only as a junior. Idk if that's still true though

Umm I'm hopeful this year (I'm a Junior) to get the scholarship. I technically qualified last year but I wasn't a Junior.... hopefully I didn't get dumber.

I got dumber between my sophomore and junior year, so I only made it to semi-finalist for the scholarship.

Dunno about the pen spinning thing but it really is good practice for the real deal. It lets you see your strengths and weaknesses in every subject, where to improve and such. Mine are this year. the SAT's. The real deal.

I had to take it my sophomore year and this year (junior). Its seriously not that bad. Like i was really sick, had a migraine, and couldnt concentrate all day, but i still thought it was easy.

I took the PSAT this past Tuesday, Sophomore year.

It was so easy. I don't really get what all the fuss is about. I flew through it and had at least 5 minutes left over per section. =/
