do you use any of the programs mentioned in the video and how well do they work? are there any bad things about using any of the programs? according to the comments, they work really well but im not taking any chances

I've heard really good things about ClamWin, but I've personally used AVG free and it worked fine for me. avast and antivir work well to i've heard. A-squared free is also a nice program to have for removing malware.

EDIT: oh i also use spybot and adaware, which work quite nicely.

AVG free edition is enough for a Home Computer.

Use Spybot for Malware (Trojan horses, worms, dialers, etc.)

However, If you have money, McAffe is the Great Wall of China.

I just use AOL virus protection. Never had a single problem. It even worked better than my expensive McAfee program.
