animated gifs

mine always come out crappy.

does anyone know the process to making a good quality animated gif from a video file???

i would appreciate anyones help on this.

There are a lot of movie to gif converters... the problem is good ones are shareware versions, free ones almost doesn't exist (at least that's what I found when I decided to do my sig)

hmm I'll have to check that converter out. It looks pretty sweet =)

the SUPER converter is supposed to be able to convert movie files to animated gif as well, though I've never done it myself. I'm sure it's worth a try! =)

This thread had almost 3 days with no response... I guess it's kind of "old". I only hope our programs helps GOTM.

Anyway, the gif converter I found is a good one, you should put it on your list (freeee!)

ok well the program works good but i have one issue

at the end of the gif it produces, it stops for like 5 seconds, and then loops again. how do u make the gifs instantly loop over and over?

Did you try modifying the last picture's delay? I had the same problem, I solved it cutting the picture's length...

You should try http://www.jhepple.com/gif_animator.htm to fix that

Also, http://software.benetonfilms.com/ is another free-gif-maker.

If MS GIF MAKER doesn't work, try beneton's one. Hope t helped
