How many here actually play it (for either GCN or DS). I personally love the series as pointless as it is, and how silly I enjoy it. Mostly because sometimes after a long stressful day I don't mind turning on my DS and just playing a game where I don't have to think much haha. Why not?

I know a lot of people usually wind up playing it and then get bored. But years down the road they turn it back on and weeds galore XD but really what are your impressions on this game? And if you play what is your character like, and your town?

i loved the game. Loved.... I actually sold it because it was too addicting. It made me want to play it all day otherwise I would get weeds. I will probably reluctantly buy the one for the wii. Its a good series.

I love Animal Crossing, but I haven't bought the later games, I can't get over the idea that people can travel to your town at will.

That only happens if you leave your gate open and they have your Nintendo number.

I don't play it anymore(I may be speaking too soon), but the GC version was awesome. I remember getting on the game everyday for at least 30 minutes just to fish, collect seashells, check out the stores, and run errands for my neighbors.

Anyone here have Gaston in their neighborhood? I remember having him in my town in the GC version, and then I got the DS version only to have him pop up there too. I didn't like the DS version in comparison though, the frame rate was terrible.

I loved AC for Gamecube a few years back. More so than i like smash now, and believe me...i really like smash. It like, forced me to play everyday, or else i had a lot of weeds to pull the next day and that some what discouraged me from playing the game. Eventually, i started focusing on my school more so than Animal Crossing and there were so many weeds, i just stopped playing. I spent hours on end making designs x3
