Animal crossing rep. The OFFICIAL thread.

Animal crossing needs to have a rep in Brawl and I think I have one. The guy you play as. They already deconfirmed the obvious reps (mr.resetti,tom nook.etc) so all that leaves is the guy play as. Here is my idea...he could be a custom character. *move set coming soon*

I don't think this thread is needed, the Animal Crossing rep is probably Smashville, who wants a generic no name character to be in Brawl? Plus, your topic starter sucks and you're not supposed to name it OFFICIAL unless it's on the Index.

you could name the character yourself. It wouldn't be a "no name" character. A custom charecter would be cool and Animal crossing is perfect for that.

There is allready a thread for it. And if it isn't in the index it can still be official, the Diddy and Little Mac threads were official long long long before the original index was even thought of.

Yes but in Super Smash Brothers Brawl he is not Red, he is Pokemon Trainer, plus he looks a little different from Red the official character from GSC.

OK, about your "name the AC character" idea....chances are no, simply because the announcer wouldn't be able to "declare" the characters name. It'll be like Soul Calibur 3's Create a Soul mode, where you could, say, create a ninja name "Takuma" and the announcer, during fights, never refers to you character by their custom name, but by their default name (Ninja).

In short, the AV character would have to have a default name.

The only character in the games officially called Red is the uber trainer from GSC. And that is the artwork of the male trainer from FireRed/LeafGreen, he has no official name allthough many fans assume him to Red, probably correct but it's still not canon.
So according to canon Red IS NOT in Super Smash Brothers Brawl, generic Pokemon Trainer who looks like Red is.
