Animal Crossing Character Basically Confirmed

Well, on Smash Bros. Dojo's website, there are many Animal Crossing things being included. 1st it was the level, now the Pitfall. But the one BIG thing that gave it away, was the Animal Crossing symbol. In Melee there were no levels based on a specific game which didn't belong to a character already in Melee.

So, after all that evidence, I think it's pretty safe to assume that there is going to be an Animal Crossing fighter included in Brawl. The problem is, who?

Ah um... What happened to the Icon theory thread.. But theres a large one somewhere that goes along with Captain Falcon and etc.

But it doesn't actually confirm it, they just needed an icon for an actual more known game instead of giving it the Smash Symbol.

I think they'll just give a whole bunch of updates for animal crossing to excuse a character. Who could be the fighting representative for Animal crossing.....besides Tom Nook, he seems like the only choice.

I'd probably say Mr. Resetti. Tom Nook is in the background, i do not know why they would remove him to make him playable from the background. Mr. Resetti seems to be AC's biggest hope IMO.

It's not really anywhere near confirmed. There's just more supporting info to the idea.
Remember in Melee how the icon showed up for each stage? It could be possible that the icon was exclusively for that, in Brawl, and nothing more.
Does it really warrant another thread for that though? lol

It's still not nearly confirmed. I could imagine them repping a series by things other than a playable character only. It does seem fitting for AC anyway.

But the fact that it's already two Animal Crossing updates now is intriguing indeed. That's more or the same amount of updates certain other franchises have gotten.

I think it's silly to think that this confirms an AC character.

It only confirms what has been confirmed.
