So recently I've been going through kurogane hammer and looking at attributes for certain characters. The one thing that always confused me when looking at knock back was angles. If someone could make a little chart on how the angles are (For example a Mario with a circle with 0 90 180 270 and 360) I would greatly appreciate it. This all came about because I was looking at Ness Vs Luigis BThrow. Ness's Bthrow has an angle of 135 while Luigi's has an angle of 45. And because of the fact that the look to send at a similar angle it confused me. Thank you very much!

0 is straight forward, 90 is directly upward, 180 is straight backward, 270 is downward, 360 is the same as 0.

The reason Luigi's and Ness's B-throws have different angles (they actually have functionally the same angle) is that Luigi's animation causes him to end up facing the thrown character, while Ness's animation doesn't change the direction he faces.

I think this online protractor might help. Have one line point directly to the right. Have the other point directly upward. You should end up with 90°. Think of that as a quarter of 360°, since 90/360 is 0.25, or 25%. 180° would be half of a circle (180/360). 270° would be three-quarters of a circle (270/360). That would mean 360° (360/360) is a complete circle. With that in mind, 90° would be directly upward, 180° would be directly backward, 270° would be directly downward, and 360° would be directly forward. As MarioManTAW said, 360° and 0° would be equal to each other. Keep in mind that 0°, 270°, and 360° are dependent of where your character is facing, but this shouldn't be an issue for you anyway.
