Is their any way to DI out of ice climbers chain grab or
does the person have to mess up his chaingrab for somebody to get out??

2. No. Not if they're doing an alternate grab properly, they have to mess up.

It depends on what chaingrab said ice climber is preforming.
Chaingrabs like alternates and hobbling are inescapable.
The dthrow/fthrow to fair chain grab, however, is techable after you get forced down onto the floor, which is why that chain grab is only useful for lower percentages.

The most you can do is mash buttons as fast as possible and hope that..
1. They're too slow with their grabs
2. They mess up

Other than that, don't get grabbed.

If it is a true chain grab, where it is alternate throws or footstools, your at the mercy of the Ice Climbers until they mess up. If you try pausing, everyone is going to hate you, whether it's a tourney or not.
