An audience more like SSB's would be nice

The audience in SSBM felt so dead and boring compared to SSB's. Anybody else agree that an audience more like SSB's would be better than SSBM's?

i do think it will be a greater audience... they need commercials this time though... i ask some people if they know what smash bros. is and all they say is yea i used to play it on the 64... most people are completely oblivious that theres a melee... i hope brawl changes that.

Heh, yeah, that'd be cool. I loved it when the crowd cheers and such. The bigger, the better.

I don't really want to hear "Ooohhh" after every decent hit throughout the entire match, thank you very much.

I would like more of a combination of the two. SSB has a bit too much audience in some places were Melee didn't quite have enough. Middle ground would be best, in my opinion.

And I preferred the Melee announcer, but the Brawl one isn't really bad... will just take some getting used to.

I loved the crowd in SSB, but i want the option to turn it on and off, or maybe eventhe ability to increase it or decrease it from a scale of 1-10. 10 being they freak out whenever anything happens, 1 being theyre all asleep.

In your mind!
In truth I loved the Audience for SSB as well, SSBM was too quite, overall I hope the crowd will be big in Brawl... One can only hope...

Yeah, I agree that we need a SSB64 type audience!

Off topic: Something weird is going on in SWF, its like the Mods have become possessed by a greater force. I'm bringing Nun-chucks!

MARIO!!! MARIO!!! crowd favorites!! I agree with you on the crowd being a lot more boring in Melee... seems as if they didn't try... I'd like to hear a better crowd chant names out!!! The Narrator is different too as you can hear in the videos..

SSB crowd is the best. They scream when you get a 2 hit combo XD. It'd be cool if somehow they made so they cheer the name above your head instead of the name of your character.

the crowd noise and enthusiasm level in ssb64 was perfect. in melee it was lackluster to say the least. when i played the demo, it was so loud that i couldnt really hear my matches too well, so i cant tell you how it is in brawl, but heres to hopin its back to how it was

Maybe they'll gonna change everything and put that annoying girls from SSBB'S booth
Hell yea! Booth babes FTW! XD
Maybe... maybe they even tricked us all at the E4A, maybe those girls were just lipsyncing so we wouldn't know they're the real announcers D=

On topic: I agree, SSB cheering was awsome, even if they gave me the option to turn it off I wouldn't =P

whenever you get a smash ball the audience screams, "Press One! Press One!"
LOL I was just about to say that.

PRESS ONE!!! YAY!!!

match is ending...

5!!! 4!!! 3!!! 2!!! 1!!!! EEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!

oh god that would get so annoying. it'd be hilarious if they did that as an alternate announcer though.

The crowd was little too much in SSB. You easily made it back after getting knocked off the stage, and the crowd yells like hell. Every freakin' decent move already made them yell. It kinda got irritating. In Melee I never got annoyed by the crowd, and thats what counts for me. Unless you can set the scale of the crowd, I'd rather have them as in Melee.

Haha, what if the audience sounded like a bunch of guys in their teens/early/mid-20's yelling "OHHHHH" and "GOOD **** MANGO!"

That would certainly be nostalgic <3

It shoulb be like SSB 64, and the character specific cheers should be as good as in SSB64.

"faaaalco... faaalco" sucks so bad -.-

The crowd should be jealous characters that didn't make it as playable that jeer mercilessly at the combatants whenever they mess up

Well, actually I've never been a big fan of the crowd, I'd rather listen to the music and it was always sort of silly for them to be calling out the name of a character particularly in a mirror match. It would be awesome if the crowd could pronounce the name tag ("Beeeeeeeeeeee up! Beeeeeeeeeeee up!" "Go Ken, Go Ken, Go Ken") but I suppose it'd be overly complicated and not work that well.
