The more i play brawl the less i like it, but hopefully i will get over this spell. because no matter how much we complain, melee will not be the one played by competitive players anymore. We have to get used to it.

Am I the only one that seems completely incapable of liking brawl?

Don't worry my friend, while you may not enjoy brawl now... you will most likely be having a blast as soon as you adjust to the engine. Just look through general brawl discussion, there is a thread that if you have difficulty adjusting, will help you. Please don't give up on this wonderful game yet.
