Alternate Costumes

Well we know about there are going to be alternate costumes, for characters. With Link confirmed to be playable in the costume Fierce Diety Link, I explored the ideas for other costumes, for other characters. I started of with ten possibilities and narrowed it down to 2 or better 1. Since I might upset some fan boys when you see the (“) on both sides of the name, it means well it’s possibility. Normally I shall try and resort to doing the (“) but some characters are hard. Also, for some of my options I have put a (‘) around the word, this is to say, it will have some modifications (Like resize,) or it’s just a very unlikely idea. Oh ad for one of my options I had this (?) That means I created the character, and made his appearance up. Enjoy…. Oh and fan boys that have a (“) over their devoted character, please don’t complain, but remember it is a possibility although some can be dud. Oh and my favourite idea is Boshi as an alternate costume.

Silver the hedgehog wouldn't make a good AC, because his battle-style is completely different than Sonic's and it wouldn't be true to his character. Blaze the Cat would be a better alternative because she's the third character to have appeared with sonic speed.

Nice part about WindWaker Link and Ness being ACs, because I'm up for that myself.

I'm really looking forward to this feature in Brawl.

Same here, as I never really had anything against clones myself, and it would enable a larger amount of characters to get into Brawl.

Doesn't work for either, Diddy has a PINK costume not a Dixie one and do you even know what Kiddy looks like?

Wouldn't work, the bodys are different shapes.

1. An alternate costume could include resizing.
2. Blaze the Cat uses sonic speed like Sonic does, so it wouldn't be a stretch at all for her to be an AC.

Xianfeng, i think you might need to reed ym writting before the list (') this mean will need mods and (") this mean popular to be his own character but, depending on the character might need a mode. Ike, Diddy
and Kirby are hard, and i was really having difficulty finding alternate costumes, but Dedede was super hard.

I believe Kiddy Kong sucks, but it was super hard to find an alternate.

Sakurai i don't think aint gonna put Black Nght in so he might become an AC.

Rick the Hamster is the closest frind to kirb that has nearest appearance, the other is Gooey but he isn't shaped like Kirby.

Also for Wind Wkaer characters and Bowser Jnr. they're likely to be modified if playable.

I don't see anything wrong with Raichu and maybe a bit of a mod to Pichu

I had funk on the list i will change him later

This is a Smash game, it's not supposed to be too logical.

Uh, you yourself said the exceptions. I don't see why you are so narrow-minded just to dismiss it when it's clearly a very nice idea. Maybe I don't see it to degree this list is, but I sure see it with a good amount of characters.

Dark Samus wouldn't work as an Alt. he/she would become an AT first.

Besides... Samus doesn't have a Dark Samus suit WTF is the meaning of this thread? many of the alt. costumes you propose have been deconfirmed since the demo.

Sonic Rush was one of the better recent Sonic games (of course, that title isn't hard to achieve, but this game was reminiscent of the older 2D games) and Blaze runs at sonic speed the same way both Sonic and Shadow do:. I wouldn't count on her being an AC, but it would not be a stretch at all for her to be in relations to the game/character.

I think that with AC means that there could be clones, and clones can be achieved if they both have similar moves and fighting style. Blaze in the newer Sonic the Hedgehog was little more than a clone of Sonic, except that curling into a ball she spinned around in a circle. So I think it's possible, whether it's going to happen or not is a different story.

They are still going to occupy memory in the game disc and not in the selection screen, Sakurai said he was not gonna put clones in this game and by far he meant in every sense of the word so Midna is not gonna be a Zelda clone even if they are in the same space in the selection screen.

I still see no problem. Sure, maybe some modification to the moveset as to make Midna's magic a different color like with Ganondorf as opposed to Captain Falcon in Melee, but it can be easily done.
