I was playing Smash Ultimate one day, went to Training mode, picked the Peach’s Castle stage, picked Mario, and looked at his costumes. Most were okay, but two were kinda boring. (Those two were not the Builder and Wedding outfits, cause they are cool.) Then I wondered, how could they make his costumes better in the next game? So, I came up with some ideas for Mario’s alternate costumes, as well as bringing back some old costumes he had in the previous games. I’m currently in the process of creating the images for them, but here’s a list of some ideas:
- Fire Mario (why did they get rid of this?!?!?)
- Wario (I know they got rid of this because Wario is already playable, but this costume looked good.)
- MB Mario (the same blue costume from 64, Melee, and Brawl, but the colors of the overalls and shirt are swapped to more resemble Mario’s appearance from the artwork and sprite.)
- Foreman Spike (He had his colors in Smash 64, but it was replaced with a black and white alt in Melee, which is based on the Hammer Suit’s sprite in SMB 3.)
- Luigi (A good replacement for his current green alt.)
- Ice Mario
- Bubble Mario
- Flying Mario
- Rock Mario
- Cloud Mario
- Donkey Kong (This would have a brown hat & shirt representing the hair and tan overalls and shoes representing the body.)
