Alright help me out guys

Ive recently decided to start using fox, just cause i was tired of link and marth. So ive been watching some combo videos to see how fox is normally put into use and i keep seeing something that really puzzles me. Ill see in the middle of the video, it will look like fox is dashing towards someone, hitting them, and dashing again, but SUPER fast so that the person cant get out of it. Hes using it to push them over to the edge so he can shine them, but im wondering what they are doing to push them. Ive never seen a dash like that, unless its REALLY fast wavedashing, that can push you back like that. Also some other pointers, fox feels so awkward after using link and marth, maybe im not used to the speed, but im having trouble linking combos together anymore. Thanks.

That's probably waveshining you're seeing. They're shining and then WDing raelly quickly. If you look closely, you'll see a blue flash. That's the shine.

Use your reflector, then do a WD out of it. Practice your WD separately; the rest of your problems can be solved by practicing alot and reading up on Fox basics.

Familiarize yourself with all of Fox's moves, so that you aren't surprised by any of them. Then dedicate a bit of time to practice them, and eventually you will improve.

For these purposes alone though, and until you get used to him overall; try not to make threads about Fox if you haven't gone and read up/practiced with him yet. If you get stuck somewhere, THATS when you come here to ask the questions.
