That's the list I pulled from the ROM dump. It might be missing the hats that come pre-unlocked. Look at your number total in the record section, it should be lower than what you have. I just compared my list to the Japanese list, and nothing is missing. What extra hats do you have?

I'm missing three off of the list: Fancy Pirate Hat, Frog Hat, and Princess Peach Crown.

Just compared your list: You are missing a lot more than Wario's Cap: Blank spaces mean you are missing.

Yeah I miscounted by like 4. My bad.

The hats could be tied to characters, or at least using a character might increase the chance a certain hat drops.

When I fought Luigi in Classic Mode, I received Daisy's Hat. When playing as Wario, I got the Wario Hat when defeating Master Core. More testing needs to be done. I've been trying to fight a Peach to see if she will drop her hat in Classic, but I can't seem to ever find her. Yoshi would probably have a higher chance of the Frog Hat....

Played as Bowser on Classic 9.

Got dog's hat and chef hat again. I think its just random.

I think it's random, but characters might increase the odds of certain hat drops. Just like custom moves and custom equipment (If you fight against DK you will get Barrel Jet items for example).

I'll argue in favor of custom moves but not item drops and equipment. When I played that last run as Bowser I got a tome, something for ZSS (it was gun shaped), a boost capsule and a generic defense item.

Wait a minute are the headgear in favor of gender? Like the wedding veil being exclusive to females?

I don't think I made myself clear. It's who you fight against for custom equipment and hats, not who you are playing as.

No you made yourself clear, I just didn't read that last part correctly. I'll test that theory later but when I got the tome and the gun I didn't fight any Metroid or Fire Emblem characters. Even in double battles.

Seems like unlocking everything is frustrating like the stickers in Brawl anyway. I care only about the trophies, really. I already have all the cool hats.

So if Smash World is real, there's more to be collected. If the connectivity between the 3D and Wii U game is a thing, than there's more to collect.

What a waste. You could have done that in practice mode.
Well, what else can I use the hammers on anyway? Everything else I can either do on my own or can't be broken with a hammer. I just don't find Street Smash interesting enough. Now All-Star mode on the other hand...

What about the challenges on the 3rd page? Like getting pretty much every single thing unlocked just to complete it? Lol

You can't continue All-Star Mode if you get KO'd, so that can be a problem if you're playing the Normal and Hard skill levels. That basically warrants using your Golden Hammers, considering how brutal gang attacks tend to be on the harder skill levels.

It's a shame that you can't do this for the intensity level 9 challenge for Classic Mode.

I just checked, and on page 3 it crosses out: 9.0 Intensity classic, classic with everybody, All star with everybody. Everything else you can use a hammer on.

Probably because All-Star is pathetically easy now. I beat it in one try with my best characters. I mean, I expected some kind of resistance. But no, just spam smashes until Greninja dies.

Not that I'm trying to gloat or anything, but ironically I beat intensity level 9 for Classic Mode without dying on my second try. The first time I tried, I failed pretty early with Little Mac then switched to Mega Man for my second try which is also ironic because I watched how much difficulty that Maxilian guy on Youtube had with trying to beat intensity 9 with Mega Man. It wasn't easy, but at the end I was just like "Wow...really?"

Mega Man's uair is a great move for it, same with his up smash. I almost beT it my second try with him too, but lost to clone form. I took the Bowser-With-Power-Equipment-Spam approach and did it fairly fast.

I can do it with Ganon on 8.0 without losing my stock, but I only tried 9.0 once and died to the sword. >_> Why is that jump so high?

Has anyone here tried using group Smash for the 100 Man Melee? I plan on tackling it Friday but am curious to see if it contributes to completing that challenge.

Why test it? To see if it contributes towards the inviter or the invitee's game of Smash and or both.

It should indeed, unless it specifies solo play. I highly recommend testing it but I'm 98% sure it would work.

Tip for the sword form: when he charges up for his multi-slash combo that's nonstop and quick, stay at the very edge of the stage and he can't touch you if you shield at the start. I seen a YouTube video of a ganondorf beating master core at 9.0 without taking any damage, and that is what he did.

Another thing I tested while taking a break from studying:
You can enter any Smash match w/ computers and stay still and even if you die first or early, the time in the match contributes towards the 10 and 50 hour challenge.

I just watched that video. I had no idea that the up-smash can reach the Giant's head! This should make things easier, thanks! :)

Nice information! :) I made sure the overnight match with Level 1 Villager that was 99 stock and .5 damage percentage worked and it did for me. Easiest method unless you wanna do it through regular smash matches without a little trick.

No problem! Once you get used to Master Core's attacks it isn't too difficult. I definitely recommend some equipment abilities such as a healing shield and whatnot depending on how you aim to achieve it. I'd say the beast form is easiest because it seems incredibly predictable. Sword form is easy to dodge if you know how to at least, and the sapien form just seems to build up damage without too much kill potentional.
