Really easy.

Open up the front end where the coin slots are. There are 2 buttons, one red and one white (if it's a legitimate cabinet). One of them, likely the red, puts you into the options mode.

Set the game to free play.

When you go back to the table of contents to exit, hold down the white button while pressing exit, and you're in event mode.

If the buttons aren't red or white, just remember that one button puts you into the options, and the other puts you in event mode.

the rule is if you're ranked and lose to pat you have to 4 stock him to be back on the rankings

so if for some reason i'm ever ranked, then i can't lose to pat

right now it has no meaning though

idk i also heard that if youre not ranked and you lose to pat you can never get ranked so you might as well start playing brawl
