No wireless...anyone using nets while you play?

That, and maybe you always had the lag, just noticed it now. What's your ping, what's your bandwidth, is this EGX, what setting, and what are your specs?

Celeron sucks I hear...but it works. 3.3Ghz is more than enough for Project64k. I assume it's XP, so 2GB is great as well. If it's specs related, it has to be the integrated bullchip [I'm assuming it's integrated Intel graphics. Those SUCK]. But, that might not be it.

Have you ever done a spyware scan? If not, download Spybot here: http://www.safer-networking.org/ After 8 years w/ no scans, your computer must be HELLA clogged up with crap. If you do have it, just tell me. Viruses can be avoided but Spyware come without you even doing anything.

If you want, play me. I'll see how much you lag.

You've probably just got better at the game. You probably lagged slightly all along but when you were new to the game, people don't tend to complain about the lag, but when you start winning all the time, they'll start whining even if it's not that bad at all. :p

On a more serious note, scanning your computer for viruses would be a good idea after 8 years, yeah.

Speaking of which if the comp is 8 years old it must have been some super epic gaming rig worth $6000 back when it came out. I think it can't be 8 years. XD

That means you likely did the spyware scan, antivirus scan, and the whole lot. Probably new Graphics card? XD You're likely to have a PCI-e slot if you replaced the mobo, haha. Graphics cards I think can slow down PJ64k, maybe.

And Thino, after 6 months I don't know about ISP fixing itself.

Broman, when you can, IM me [player compendium], and I'll P2P you to check it out. Or I can get on Kaillera....I guess, but it has to be Excellent or above.

People always list the amount of GFX memory, but it matters piss, really.

9500GT (1GB) < 9600GT (512MB)

9600GT wins cause of faster memory [DDR3 > DDR2], higher clock [650Mhz > 550Mhz], and a bunch of other stats, like 64 streams instead of 32.

2.2Ghz is enough, but PJ is single threaded, so you're running with 2.2Ghz. Still, maybe .2Ghz is the difference between minor lag and no lag. >_<
