All is Brawl vs Smashboards

Originally I thought that the All is Brawl site was basically a "Brawl" only site hence the name. But I just saw there have melee forums as well. I have a little question. What was the point of making another smash forum site, and even more stupidity why name is after one game?
Isn't this one good enough? hasn't it worked great for years? I just don't understand the need of another site. Maybe it's just me

AllisBrawl is a bad site only for Skype Scenes in Brawl. It has nothing to do with competitive Melee or Brawl.

I've always seen AiB as more of a social networking site compared to Smashboards, which not only looks, but garners more of a serious outlook in regards to the overall competitive atmosphere of Smash. Not to say, no such thing exists in AiB, but there are far more casuals there than here.

Well i mean i never asked myself this before but honestly why is there another forum site like this for the same stuff. It seems to me all the best players and such are still here on the boards. so it never made sense to me

I *believe* Alphazealot is very knowledgeable about AiB and what its purpose is etc. So you're all free to ask him if you're dying to know.
