This thread is only for those of legal age in retrospect to their country. No underage drinking. Nor is it solely about getting drunk. This is about enjoying alcoholic beverage, whether or beer or vodka, screwdriver to appletinis.

As a thread starter, I'll just list a few favorite things

Favorite Beer: Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale
Favorite Liquor: Whiskey
Favorite Brand: Crown Royal
Favorite Cocktail: Kamikaze

Let's try to keep the fratness down to a certain level

I'm glad you talked me into the minifridge back in the day (even though your dad could've bought it...) Was so worth it. I can't stand warm beer, I don't know how some alkies drink it, it's just disgusting.

I'd have to say you have some good taste there, but a nice martini for my cocktail, thank you.

Avoid a warm Boddingtons. Word of warning, adding WKD will not solve the problem. Guinness on the other hand, is an amazing drink, the Irish got something right there, that's for sure. Whiskey, quality when done right, piss when done wrong. Literally piss, had some french whiskey, absolutely disgusting.

Has anyone had one of those flavoured beers? My friend had one, Indian I think it was, possibly Mongolian, Banana flavoured, delightful stuff, if you know the name of it, tell me. I'd also like to direct you to Cockburn's (pronounced Co'burns, though the spelling kept me entertained for hours when I first encountered it at a friend's wedding), highly reccomended by me.

Beer: Samuel Adams Octoberfest and just plain ol' miller lite
Liquor: Doctor McGillicuddys
Mixed Drink: Rum n' coke plenty of ice and lime on a beach with a hot woman.

Mixed drink: Ballantine's and cola (actual Ballantine's mixed with actual Coca Cola. Premixed stuff in a can is pretty ordinary).

I don't think this'll get locked. The smoking thread didn't get locked, even when people were talking about illegal stuff. Why would you post in a thread that you think is going to get locked, anyway?

Anyways, I love Guiness. But also I like Michelob. However, I mostly prefer the chick drinks haha.

Favorite Liquor: Beer ....if I'd had to choose something different it would be tequila (or whiskey, but I only drink that on more special occasions.

Btw, if anyone ever sees Absinthe, don't ever touch it. It's pure poison, there are 3 different alcohol percentages, which are 70, 80 or 85%. That's the craziest liquor I've ever seen.

Well, I'm underage, but I've never had any alcohol in my life (except for cough syrup--to treat a cough, not to get drunk).

I personally can't even stand the smell of beer.

I don't think I'll ever start drinking, even socially. My family has a history of alcoholism, and I don't want to put myself at risk.

And by the way, minors talking about getting drunk isn't illegal. It's just socially irresponsible. They can talk about it on TV (although I'm not sure if they can actually show the minor drinking the alcohol).

Only a very few things are illegal to talk about. Military secrets, keys to government encryption codes, planning crimes, making death threats, etc. are all illegal online, at least in the U.S., where I believe the smashboards servers are located. Talking about alcohol, even about minors drinking it, is certainly fine.

There was a topic in this room called smash drinking games and it got locked immidiately because of alcohol reference, but like you said I've seen the smoking thread so I wasn't sure if this will get closed or not.

Favorite beer: Prolly Kokanee from our West coast canada if we stay as buyable in super market. else it gotta be one of those awesome beer of montreal's saint bock (they make their own beer)

Favorite wine: just wth is that? i'd have to go for Sake because it gets you drunk in a minute

Favorite liquor: Amareto, rhum, gin

Favorite drink: Amaretto Cranberry, Amaretto goldslager, Amaretto Sour, Pink lady. besides there's plenty good ones and its not really my style.

My whole dad's family is full of alcoholics, and so I might have picked up the genetics that make people easily addicted to it. Because I know what it would do to me and how much it would screw up my life, I don't plan on drinking.

Can't believe I forgot about wine.

For all it's worth, I strongly prefer red wine, and while I don't have an actual brand preference, I've started to drink Yellow Tail wine. I'm not much of a wine drinker, though. I use to bring a random bottle of red wine to college parties and drink it from the bottle there, but that was only to make myself look sophisticated. Now that I'm past that stage, I rarely drink it

I never fully understood Absinthe. Mainly, why is there such a mythical nature about it? It can't just be the high alcohol percentage, Absinthe is banned in several places, but Everclear 190 has a higher percent then that and is only banned in a few american states.

I also recently broke my stance on Alcopops, they're **** delicious

It's because Absinthe is made of wormwood, right? Which is poisonous. Absinthe is supposed to make you hallucinate.

I never cared for beer. I just haven't found one that fits my taste(not sure if I ever will).

I love white wines and mixed drinks(love Long Island ice teas). I usually really only drink liquor. Ugh, the first time I ever had Jager, I drank about 7 shots while playing DOA for 360. It wrecked me =S

The absinthe we have today does not make you hallucinate. You have to special order to get the real stuff which I believe is illegal here in the US

Fav Beer: I like them Japanese beers in general, Asahi, Kirin, Sapporo I'm not so fond of, but if someone hands it to me I'll have it ;] Asian beers in general I like. Don't like Hoegarden and Carlsberg from what I remember. Aussie beers are pretty good in general as well, except VB, bleergh.

Fav Wine: Hard to say for this one, when I started drinking I couldn't stand reds, but now, if it's a nice bottle, I can easily down a couple of glasses ;] A light shiraz is nice, full-bodied can be too much for me sometimes, but I can do em. Think I tend to perfer cabernet sauvignons better though.
I do like a sweet white wine, not so fond of Chardonnays though. LOVE desert wines. 1984 dessert riesling is beaaautiful. Sweet as honeey :] And so is 1980 Port. Mmmm.

Fav Liquor: I'm fond of my rum. : D I'm such a pirate :] Love a good dark rum, appleton estate has some nice stuff. Nice dark rum over white Barcardi aaaanyday :]

I LOVE Tanqueray 10 Gin too, with some tonic. If you ever get the chance to, try either the Tanqueray Gin or Millers, beautiful floral scent and goes down so easy. Better than Bombay Sapphire.

Or Agwa, if you ever get to find the stuff. I think ti's a cocoa leaf liquer or something, you have it as a shot and suck on a lime afterwards. Really yummy stuff :]

Lychee Sake is totally yummy as well, so easy to make as well :] Beautiful on a hot day when chilled. Same goes for mango sake and again, easy to make : D

I could go on forever but I think that'll do for tonight :3

Rhum/Gin are very tasty... love 'em alot.
However, I don't like Lychee Sake... I can't stand Lychee, makes me wanna throw up.
