hey nice fail list manskarr
last time I played melee with certain people
i was beating che most of the time and i lost to YOU and MATT SAVAGE
so how do you express THAT?
it's like i'm charmander, che is bulbasaur, and somebody else is squirtle
(in this case YOU and MATT SAVAGE)
how do you represent people on a list where the top three counter one other
person but lose to another?
anyway. tournaments don't really represent skill so much. if only because the people
you play can be random. there could be someone that could beat Merek but like lose
to me, so if i take them out first Merek is safe, right. stuff like that. I remember a
tournament in which i got third at. i felt bad because i didn't play RICKY. he was taken
out by MANIEL I believe. rest assured, if i had played against ricky i wouldn't have even
got third or anything. so there man.
i think there's no real way to accurately measure people's overall skill at smash since
not only are there matchups to consider, there are personal strengths and weaknesses
to consider, STAGES, (which most other fighting games don't have, as far as I know) and
other things such as a person's adaptability and other traits?
I mean, who is the better player, one that has a powerful, fast way of playing that is hard
to get around, or a player that while they take longer to adapt, once they do, are unstoppable.
such as in smash, when i'm playing a lot of matches against Merek, he'll dominate me in the end
usually. he adapts after awhile.
and MATT SAVAGE should be in the top three of any list of smash- 64, melee, or brawl. he's good.
and ****
i missed that tournament.
god****it all.
