Cost

$1400

The costs include airfare, hotel, tournaments, venue, food and transport. Food costs have been cut down to the bare minimum. notice that shopping and entertainment/leisure IS NOT included in the list.

Also, this was A LOT less than what we spent on our Apex trip, i believe Caleb blew like 2 THOUSAND dollars on that trip, or something like that, had i paid for the tickets, i would've blown a good 2800 dollars. this is much less expensive.

Transportation

We will be renting a car, its gonna be 300 dollars a week, and it'll be chill.

The Plan

We're gonna be there for 8 days. 4 of those days will be spent doing smash related things. The other 4, we shall be enjoying California.

July 14th - Arrive in Cali. Practice up for tournament, socialize, etc.
July15-17th - Genesi2
July18th-21st - SIX FLAGS MUTHAFUGGA!!!
July 22nd - San Francisco to troll the gays, and leave for home

Those who plan on going, i need to see that you have 1200 dollars by June. Finally and most importantly, we stick to the plan i make. When i say we move out at noon, we leave at noon, etc...

Now, I'm not forcing you to go with us, should u wish t go by yourself and plan it out by yourself, not stopping you. Just saying, I've done this many times before, i know what I'm doing, and i do a good job at it. you can ask Kira and Caleb and my brother.

In any case, i hope to see more people able to make it, lets do this, have fun, and rep the AK smash scene.

so, i was thinking today, how derek said he would play melee again if there was a remake... and it hit me. i personally think this is a ****ing amazing idea but what do yall think? melee on the upcoming nintendo3DS?? removes the need for setups and controllers, also if online is good, it could revive the community.

In the outlandish possibility that some smash game IS released on a portable system, I don't think it

will come anywhere close to overtaking the console games in tournaments. Because well, it's handheld.

There's something about the small screen that doesn't quite have the same draw of big screens.

I would get it of course, but I wouldn't have high hopes for it having ginormous tournaments like Melee

or Brawl.

If you want a Melee remake on console you'd best keep bated breath for Project M. Hee hee hee.
