Aireal Movement with Puff

Hi I have a quick question!
I see Hbox doing a lot of aireals while in neutral, and his movement while in the air seems so fast! Does the aireals provide some sort of momentum to Puff, or is he just doing footsies/baiting?

When Jigglypuff double jump, she "Puffs" her body up like a balloon and moves slower in the air. Using aerials will depuff her and let her move faster/farther. Hbox also uses fastfalling and wavedashing to speed up puff.
