You know how some characters have grab release down B problems from Bowser?

Well, if you can actually air dodge the second attack. (2 hits remember?) it's tricky, but with proper timing it can be done.

Also, with proper DI too, you can avoid the second hit altogether while doing so.

Yup, this is true for some characters. However, when you use this you can hope that your opponent doesn't see it coming in time to prepare for the necessary reactions. It works fairly well for a surprise KO.

That's been known since it was discovered. It's just to catch people of guard or not expecting it. Out of all the tricks bowser has it gets hard finding a way around all of them ;)

Hey, did you know Ness can escape Marth's grab release chain grab? It's a technique called Extra-Inch DI (EIDI)! You should look it up
No way! Oh my god, you are my savior! AWESOME!

Sorry about that guys, a mod can lock this now.

I'm not actually familiar with the grab release/Down B thing, or the characters who have the problems with it. Could someone explain or provide a link? I'd be very interested.

Bowser releases the enemy, then immediately down Bs. The first hit should send them in the air, the second should crash down on them. Ness and Lucas have problems with this because of their unusual long frames of their grab release animation.

Thanks for that. I need to try to practice that.
