Okay, So me and vericz decided to go ahead and try aion. We already pre-purchased it, and will be able to make our first two toons on the 18th. Also, 3 of our other WoW friends also all, prepurchased it.
So, after going to forums, asking questions, and looking at polls, Zikel will be the EAST coast server of choice. It will be the high population/high skill server for East coast players. So if anyone is going to play AION, you should come to this server.
You should preorder it today! Why?
If you do, you will be able to make up to 2 characters tomorrow which is 4 days earlier than the NA release. Also, you will get 7 days of extra game time included. Also, you will recieve some special in-game items. One of which is very valuable. It lets you gain+20% experience. And it binds to your account, so you can use it on various toons.
I was going to wait before i bough it, but then I realized, even if I wait, and then I get it later, I'll still end up paying the $50, but I won't get that extra week for free, and I won't get that invaluable +20% experience item.
(September 18th (My 21st birthday), is when players who pre-purchased aion can create up to 2 toons in advance.
September 20th, is when players who preordered can actually play the full game.
September 22nd, is the NA official street release.)
We are planning on making a Legion (guild) on this realm, I will try to post more info. I far one, want to make it more of a hardcore endgame content legion. I know vericz and I want to focus heavily on PVP. Anyone interested can post here.
