This is the current team Ive been using in shoddy. Its also my team in platinum (yes PokeSAV'd ^_^). Anyway, the team is pure aggro, putting the opponent in constant pressure. The most trouble Ive had is with ttar leads and aero leads (and swamperts). I've considered dropping azelf or ttar for something else but IDK...anyway, here's the team:

Azelf @ Focus Sash 31 31 31 31 31 28
Stealth Rock
Thunderbolt
Flamethrower
Explosion
Naive atk 6, satk 252, spe 252

My lead. Sets up those glorious SRs. I sometimes have trouble setting up against Aeros though. Most Aeros will taunt then SR so I just tbolt them the turn they taunt and 2HKO them but that means no rocks for me :(. Ttars also give me trouble but not as much as I can still set those lovely rocks :).
--------------

Scizor @ Choice Band 31 31 31 31 31 31
UTurn
Bullet Punch
Superpower
Pursuit
Adamant hp 248, atk 252, spe 8

My revenge killer. U all know what this guy does >_>.
-------------

Heatran @ Choice Scarf 31 31 31 31 31 28
Flamethrower
Dragon Pulse
Earth Power
Explosion
Naive atk 6, satk 252, spe 252

My other revenge killer. Takes care of Scizor, Azelf, etc. also goes boom against trouble Pkmn. I choose Flamethrower because I really really dont trust in Fire Blast. And I dont wanna miss EVER against a scizor >_>.
------------

Gyarados @ Leftovers 31 31 31 31 31 31
Waterfall
Taunt
Stone Edge
Dragon Dance
Adamant hp 156, atk 108, spe 100, spe 144

A sweeper. My other answer to Scizor. And an answer to Heatrans. An all around good Pokemon that helps me a lot.
------------

Salamence @ Life Orb 31 31 31 31 31 31
Outrage
Fire Blast
Earthquake
Dragon Dance
Naughty atk 232, satk 24, spe 252

Another Standard lol. One of the most threatening pkmn. This guy usually opens up sweeps and takes at least 2-3 pkmn with him if I play my cards right :). <3 My second favorite Pkmn. (My fav is Jolteon but I dont use Jolt much :/)
-----------

Tyranitar @ Leftovers 31 31 31 31 31 31
Substitute
Flamethrower
Focus Punch
Crunch
Brave hp 252, atk 152, satk 72, spe 32

Tyraniboah. My answer to Latias (reason I use Crunch over Dark Pulse). I use 72 evs in satk so that Flamethrower will always OHKO 252 hp/0sdef Scizor so that If I happen to have sub I can always beat it before it bullet punches me next turn after he breaks my sub :/. Focus Punch is there for tran, coverage and for sub punch of course. This guy has been a mixed bag. On one hand it takes care of Rotoms and Latias for me and when I set a sub I usually dent a lot of pokes but at other times he can be...quite useless...
-------------------------------

So as u can see I like to use standard sets lolol. Pokemon that I found are annoying for this team are: Swampert (VERY annoying for this team), machamp, aero and ttar leads. Not much else that give me much trouble. Well, rate my team, critique it, etc.

Just so you know, this is an incredibly generic team and I hate you for being unimaginative.

But standards are standards because they're good, so this is a pretty decent team. If you want to be incredibly generic, you could put SD Lucario with Ice Punch, Extremespeed and Close Combat in place of T-Tar.

Also, two DDers seems redundant. You probably want to replace DD Mence with a Mixed LO Wallbreaker. Other than that though, this is pretty solid.

*Sigh*

Nah, Lucario wouldnt be good in place of ttar. Who would keep Latias and Rotoms in check? :/. Also, dont be hatin' on standards :(. lol.

Eh, I'd agree with peregrine monkey for the most part. Also, Tyranitar gets Fire Punch.

Taunt on Gyarados could be replaced by Earthquake or Ice Fang, I don't see it getting much use.

Pretty standard team that looks good on the outside. Like you said you'll have problems with bulky waters (suicune and swampert) and LO starmie especially towards mid-game and endgame scenarios. It'll most likely boil down to mindgames and predictions on choosing when to use explosion and pursuit.

I don't see why people would discredit this team for being "standard" when it requires a good amount of decision making with choice items and revenge killing to make up for its defensive deficit unlike some other teams that run themselves.

When Azelf and Scizor are gone, Vaporeon and other Bulky waters could potentially wreck your team, since you only have 1 Electric attack.

I also see Latias and Machamp as problems.

But besides that, I think your team is pretty standard.
