Aerial Cancels

Does anyone have any specific timings for when to cancel aerials as you land? I've been practicing and I can't even tell when I am doing it right. Do some characters not have the ability to autocancel aerials? I thought it was confirmed that all aerials in smash 4 can be autocancelled.

fair, bair, and uair autocancel from a shorthop. nair autocancels from a full jump.

Nair is the one I really wish would autocancel, but that's okay, 3/4 aint bad

So if I short hop fair and bair i shouldn't fast fall? The ball tends to hang out when I short hop fast fall and there is a lot of landing lag.

Correct. Using bair as an example, it autocancels before frame 12 and after frame 30.

What l do with the GC is jump with X while holding down then slide my thumb to A asap.

Yeah you can autocancel dair. If you learned to thunderhop or whatever its called in brawl (ganon's instant autocancelled stomp) then it's the same thing. I do what krazy did but with Y, I keep my finger on the tip of y and press it while holding down. Then slide the thumb down to a for the aerial.

One more thing: you can side B > JC > Nair > auto cancel.
