Advice on starting a community??

Hey guys and gals, I'm new here, kind of. I've had an account for a bit but never posted until now. Mostly just studying up on my characters.

I want to try and start a community in my area, and wanted some advice or ideas. There was a small community at my college, but it's really just a group of friends who just stick to themselves. They invited me to like their page on facebook, then steadily stopped replying to my messages asking to play some games sometime. ANYWAYS, besides the salt...

I was thinking I could get some flyers going, make a Facebook page, ask friends to tell their friends, and so on. Maybe see if I could hang the flyers in places like Books-a-million, Hastings, or Gamestop.

I need ideas, brethren! I only play this game seriously with two people, right now! (I can hardly take ten minutes of For Glory....)

Oh, and if anyone in southern OK or NE Texas reads this....hit me up....pretty please?
