Ok so I will critique your first set of matches. ^^
Against Falcon: A few things really stood out to me when I watched these vids. The first was your forward smash spam. Try to resist the urge to forward smash so much. It’s an extremely lagy move that can get you ***** pretty bad. The more you play, the more you'll see when it’s best to use it. The next was your spacing of your aerials, particularly your fairs. If you watch your matches again you'll notice when you jump and do the fair your Marth continues to move forward. You DON'T want this to happen. This unwanted momentum in the air can make you miss your target all together, miss the tip, or even get you shield grabbed.
To prevent this from happening, you have to have to stop using forward on the analog stick + A to do your fairs. After you jump start holding BACK with the analog stick. This prevents Marth from moving forward as he is rising in the air. Then flick the C stick forward, of course don't forget to l cancel. lol This is how you do a spaced SHFFL fair with Marth. Using this method allows you to hit with Marth's tip far more frequently. The best part is, after Marth does a SHFFL aerial, he can dash away immediately but pressing back on the analog stick after completing the aerial. This is good to use if your attack misses or hits a foe's shield. But I digress. Oh and I recommend using C stick for ALL of Marth's aerials, except for nair, obviously.
I know you are new but you one thing that is important in ALL smash games is percents. I say this because you were attempting things that simply don't work at certain percents. For example, you were attempting up throw to up tilt on Falcon at very low percents. Fast Fallers like Falcon, Fox, Falco, can't be up tilted properly until the mid/late 30%s – mid/late 40%s. However, this combo works very well on floaty characters like Marth at lower percents. Just consider the characters falling speed when doing combos. Speaking of which, whenever you smacked your opponent you had this habit of standing there and watching him fly away. You have to pursue your foe and apply pressure. So when you used that up throw on Falcon and he went flying in the air, you should have ran either attempted to jump up and continue using fairs/uairs OR simply ran underneath him and attempt to hit him with a up tilt or bait him to air dodge and land a forward smash. You know stuff like that.
Another thing was your approaches. I saw you attempting a few grabs, which was great! Just remember to Jump cancel (JC) your grabs. This can be done by pressing up on the analog stick and Z or however way you grab at the same time. This cancels the lag of your grabs. Yes grabs have lag. A lagy grabs is hwen Marth hunches over after a missed grab. So when you’re JC properly, you won’t see that hunching over posture. lol Another good approach method to use with Marth is dash canceled down tilts. To do these, simply run, and tean press down and A. This cancels your dash into a down tilt. Remember, the goal with Marth is to hit with the tip. So if you hit your foe with a tipper down tilt at low percents, this often stuns them allowing you to dash after them to a JC grab. Forward throw to down tilts also works wonders on Falcons at low percents.
Down tilts also play a major part of Marth's edge guarding game too. I'm not sure if you know, but Marth is practically the best edge guarder in the game, to me anyway. Forward smashes, down tilts, jabs, forward tilts, and counter...are all awesome on-stage edge guarding tools. As for off stage, you can run off the level and swat foes away with a fair, and Up B back to the level. Oh and learn to sweet spot that Up B. There is no auto sweetspot. lol
I think I left you with enough information for now. I am tired. Haha. If you want some more tips on your other matches just let me know or write on my profile wall. You aren’t too bad though. I’ve seen FAR worse. I think you’ll be just fine.
Good luck, hope I helped. XD
