advanced ice climbers question

i just want to give them a try, im fairly good with everysingle character and i can pick up on anyone pretty fast..

how do you perform the iceclimbers chain grab?

Just try to practice them in a training room on a fairly medium weighted character at first, like Marth, and get used to the rhythms of the throws that the grabbing and throwing sounds and controls make. I found that watching videos of other people chaingrabbing helped understand the rhythms.

But remember you shouldn't only play IC's because of there infinites.

Anyway do what the above post says, because remember that the timing for different weights aren't the same, so get used to that.

Hm...I had a lot of trouble with alternating throws until about a month and a half ago. Basically, what helped me was looking for visual cues of when to push the Z button. For example, on Marth, a fairly good time to push the Z button was when Nana stepped in front of him, and the same for Popo. Sometimes the placing's different for Nana and Popo on a few characters, but now I can alternate F-throws fairly well on most characters.

Learn how to play them on a basic level first. Learn their moveset and the basic chaingrabs.

Try reading/watching the guides before posting a thread asking about chaingrabs, plz. I hope I helped. :)

lol not at all! thanks tho.

but i learned how to basicly chain grab with them, and ice glitch by myself today, i sat down for 20 minutes and just tried, it was very simple.
