Good vids Ace!

Work on getting around the shield pressuring with jumping out of shield. Also a good bait is kinda guessing when Falco or Fox want to approach with a shine or grab by holding your shield and full jump d-air to grabs. One flaw I did notice is you gotta be alot more consistent with the edge guards. Also try to remember neutral A's can lead to down throws. You can pretty much grab a Falco d-air instantly if you're ready for it, but just hold shield a little longer and wait for them to shine, then you can grab that.

You did really good against his Fox. That's pretty much a bait game and you did good demonstrating that, and you did a good job figuring out that d-throws can lead to d-smashes, which can pretty much be combo'd into anything else you feel like doing. Bait with retreating f-airs, and make small walls with retreating spaced up-airs to get around Fox's nairs.

Overall - Mad Beastly Ganon; it got much better, so keep up the great work.

Thanks for the good words man, I appreciate it. I'll see how I can improve by Saturday; hopefully I'll be able to put some more vids up.

First off, I'm worse than you, but I see some things that can help you.

Against Falco, when he's approaching with lasers, and you're in your shield, WD backwards OoS. It normally messes up their spacing, so that either they land in front of you (if they were originally landing behind you, which is where they should go, I think), or they land too far away from you to do anything. If they're in front, shield grab -> other stuff. Do this instead of rolling back, because it gets obvious and punishable.

Im liking your ganon bro, a couple things I want to touch down on though.
When falco is lasering try full jump dairing and uairing oos, this counters sh nair approaches, or laser>shine approaches.
A quick double jump to fair and full jump retreating fair are two tactics that I didn't see much of that work wonders against falco.
When your cging a falco he will most likely DI forward on the 1st dthrow and then notice you can cg him, so on the 2nd throw uthrow him and he will almost always DI back, which of course leads to a bair.

I noticed in the match vs Fox you ledge hopped uair and fell to your death. I don't know if you were trying to ledge hop uair and grab the ledge again but if you were the easiest way I find to do it is press back on the joystick and and do a quarter circle up and cstick the uair. Also in the beginning of the match you almost got a double downsmash. That put so many ideas in my head.

Overall nice matches. You looked good in em but he had you stumped on how to play his spacies. Versus any others you would have done way better but he pressed you with the gimmiks and didn't switch because you weren't punishing them. Keep playing him though. He looks like one of those players that teach their opponent to think and that is always a great partner to learn from.

MUAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

pro ganon.
Pro Ganon is so right. Crazy *** wall techs mixed moonwalks! Is there anything Ace can't do?

Hint - Up-throws against Falcons work well against him too, especially at mid-hi percents. Also spaced out/retreating up-airs work well against shutting down his nairs. Great vids Ace keep at it; lol I need to put vids of me vs Sighrax.

Thanks for the good words, the Ganon boards kick a$s. Yeah I'm def. going to be putting more angled (and unangled) ftilt into my anti-falcon game, I used to do it back when I had a Falcon main to play with all the time and after a while I got a bit rusty in that dept.

I'm about to move to the beach, a good bit away from the tourney scene but if nothing else I plan on recording some vids with my bro and possibly adding more matches to this thread.
