About Kirby Olimar

Since Olimars pikmin scatter easy, many people might assume that his neutral B would be his whistle, calling them to him.

So what if kirby also gets the whistle when he inhales olimar? kirby doesnt have any pikmen, so maybe using the whistle would cause olimars pikmin to run to kirby. kirby cant do anything with them, but now olimar is offensiveless, and would have to call them back. they would be fighting over olimars pikmin.

dont you think this would lead to insanely interesting matches when both olimar and kirby are involved? i think its genious!

I don't think he would call Olimar's Pikmin. If that was the case, there are to major problems:

1. Olimar is unable to fight (or at least unable to do many attacks). Think about 4v4 matches...Olimar would be easy meat.
2. If Olimar dies, Kirby's ability is useless.

so olimar can just call them back with his whistle, it would only leave him unable to fight for a short time.

if olimar dies, then kirby can always get rid or that power and go for someone elses. he has a whole olimar he doesnt have to worry about anymore.

Or maybe a move that is strengthened by pikmin, like if olimar has no pikmin he just throws a *rock (for lack of a better example), but if he has pikmin he picks one up and throws them. Maybe kirby will throw rocks like olimar or maybe he'll throw pikmin dolls or s/t

Why is everybody saying Olimar can't do anything without Pikmin?

So far all Sakurai told us was he can't do and smash attacks, he could still have dash/tilt/air/grab moves...
