About B-Sticking

Wasup everybody...I just decided to main Lucas (not that u guys care), and I know that B-sticking seems to be kinda popular. I plan on goin to a lot of tournaments and stuff this summer, and for some reason it seems like B-sticking would be frowned upon in tournaments...kinda like a modifying ur controller type of thing. Is this true, or is it worthwhile practicing with the b-stick. Pretty much I don't wanna play competitively with a "cheap controller mod".

its just changing the controls <.< i seriously doubt this is frowned upon in a tourny, by b-sticking you cant use your smash moves as quickyly, its a trade
