abbreviations

i have looked around in the stickies and could not find stuff for newbies about the "lingo." i want to try some strats from here but everything involves bair or whatnot. can someone give me a link or tell me the abbreviations to various smash terms?

If you said what character you were looking at it'd be a lot easier. Here are some generic ones though:

f: forward
b: backward
d: downward
u: upward
n: neutral
air: aerial
smash: smash
tilt: tilt
throw: throw
(fair therefore equals forward aerial)
sh: short hop
ff: fast fall
shffl: short hop/fast fall/l-cancel
cg: chain grab
wd: wavedash
dd: dash dance

Again, those are just a sampling of them. Ask in the Character Specific Forums for (what else) Character Specific answers.

thanks alot, 2 quick questions. for example with fair, is it foward A or foward B? also what is tilt?
