every time I post in a thread and somone else does I get an email!!!!! how do I turn this stupid thing off!?

To make this on topic....do you think waddle dee should be an AT or common enemy like goomba in melee? Ink drop fails btw. tumble cancel ftw.

go to user CP, go subscribe tread, list of subscribes, check box all, pull down the "move to folder", delete

User CP --> List Subscriptions --> Unsubscribe

I had this same problem. You know what I did to stop it? Block the the email address that sent me an email. Haven't recieved anymore since.

hippo, you go to the second to last dropdown to unsubscribe.

After you click on the 'List Subscriptions' check every single box you don't want to recieve emails every time someone posts. Afterwards at teh very bottom of the screen there is a little List box that will give you options. Not hard to miss.

But won't that mean when I post in a new thread I'll still get emails?

Please just follow the instructions that you were given to stop receiving subscription messages, and stop questioning them so much. If you try them and they still give you problems, go to the Questions and Suggestions thread linked above.
